UPAS met with Councilmember Price

Over 100 parents and students attended a meeting with Councilmember Price, where students presented their action projects and asked eh Councilmember for his support. Parent leaders also expressed their concerns and made key requests regarding immigration, homelessness, gentrification, and safe passages. The Councilmember committed to put the streets around AJR on a high needs list for street repairs and safe passage work. The Councilmember also committed to oppose any projects that promote displacement and explained his efforts to protect immigrant families in his district.
