Student Safety

In the fall of 2017, Public Works and the Board of Supervisors voted to put new, larger school zone signs and no left turn and no u- turn signs in front of Animo Watts and Animo Mae Jemison to improve student safety. Animo Jackie Robinson began a partnership with the City Attorney’s Office and the LA Minerva Foundation to launch a parent-led safe passage program.
