Youth Organizers Institute

In the summer of 2017, UPAS launched the Young Organizers Institute, an 8-day summer educational series created for high school students interested in fighting for social justice in their communities via community organizing. These students are now UPAS ambassadors and meet monthly to organize around gang violence in their communities.
