Meeting with Councilmember Buscaino

United Parents and Students met with Coucilmember Buscaino at Ánimo College Prep Academy. Parents led the meeting and made specific requests related to the platform of safe passages, clean streets, more job opportunities and raising the wage. Eighty parents attended, and the Councilmember committed to seeking out additional funding for safe passages and to returning to the school twice a year to provide at "State of Watts" address to ACPA parents.
